Michael Andrews, Founder and CEO

A self proclaimed “recovering corporate attorney,” Michael donned a suit and tie to a law firm every day for nearly eight years. When he could not find off-the-rack suits cut to his liking, he began having his clothes custom made. After trying over a dozen tailors without finding exactly what he wanted, he decided to open his own tailor shop.

Since doing his homework had become second nature – Michael received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech, where he was a prestigious President’s Scholar, and his JD/MBA from Northwestern Law School and the Kellogg School of Management – he began taking tailoring classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology to understand professional tailoring techniques first-hand.

In 2006, Michael Andrews Bespoke was launched with the vision of crafting high-end yet approachable menswear with a modern flare. Since then, Michael Andrews has become New York’s premier custom clothier and has been named to “Best of” lists by New York Magazine, Time Out New York, Bloomberg Markets, AM New York and JW Marriott Magazine.

Andrew Wells, Co-Founder

Andrew helped with the inception and launch of Michael Andrews Bespoke in 2006, and has remained an integral part of the continued development of the organization. Today, he acts as a senior advisor to Michael and the team.

When Andrew is not in NYC, he runs the Atlanta office of Daugherty Business Solutions with P&L responsibilities for a team of over 120 consultants. Andrew received his B.B.A. in Management Information Science and Finance from the University of Georgia and shoots a mean game of pool.

Alex Yampolsky, Vice President Client Relations

Hailing from the former USSR, Alex has a friend in most spots around the globe. After playing pro-am tennis, Alex finished school and spent the first part of his career in advertising sales at NBC. While at NBC, Alex found himself in need of a few good suits. He was introduced to MAB as a client before joining the team first as a consultant and later as the company’s head of sales and business development.

When he’s not monkeying around the studio, he can often be found jumping out of perfectly good airplanes or zipping around town on his Ducati.

Sarah Neikirk, Director of Client Services and Marketing

Prior to moving to New York, Sarah claimed both North Carolina and Georgia as home. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications and a love for Carolina basketball. While working for a boutique luxury travel public relations firm, Sarah was introduced to the MAB crew in the fall of 2010, and in short order, realized Michael Andrews represented a unique and fabulous opportunity of which she wanted to be a part. She manages all client orders from start to finish while also overseeing MAB’s (awesome) events, press, and overall public interest.

Sarah hopes to one day be a guest judge on Top Chef.

Adam Lampell, Senior Stylist

Adam grew-up in Holmdel, New Jersey before traveling 50 miles and crossing a river to attend Columbia University, where he was a member of the school’s Division I Men’s Cross Country & Track teams. Armed with a useful degree in Political Science and a keen eye for a good suit, Adam visited the original MAB location and purchased his first custom suit (without really having a place to wear it). He liked it so much that he decided he wanted to wear them full-time and joined the MAB team as a stylist.

He also makes the best cocktails in the house.
